I had the same problem on Win 8 64bit and Steam Games! You have to run Xpadder with Windows XP sp3 compatibility option! Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, dude.
I have Win 8 64bit as well and Xpadder works fine for me. The only issue I have is that It doesn't seems to work with steam games. I'm still trying to find a solution or compatibility option to solve the problem.
