Re: Bioshock 2 (360 Controller)
Thanks for the tip; the screenshots are especially helpful. Nonetheless, the profile is still coming up blank after I paste in the code. Does this mean xpadder isn't recognizing the code I just put in? While I would like to report on my progress with Bioshock 2, I've been having technical problems ...

If you want a fun profile that is not a straightout vanilla copy of the Xbox profile but one that exploits the unique capabilities of Xpadder try here.

Dunno if this helps but we often set tap or hold features to buttons for extra key commands and/or extra modifier sets to buttons.

There is a solution to that updating x79, prudence however...
Do a thorough research on Google is my best suggestion.

Can you make a layer for those with a X360 gamepad, like me?

This is excellent.
I think this shows tho we need an Elite Help subforum in the Elite Zone {EZ} where members can discuss the finer points of Xpadder Profiling. I worry that this fine thread will be lost in this section.

There are some Bad Company 2 profiles in the Profiles Section pyper, why not try them out and see if that problem persists? They can often be adapted for different controllers types too.

Re: *BioShock 2* - BleedingEdge profile by YoJembo (X360)
First thoughts after trying this profile... its really solid. All the buttons seem to be perfectly placed. My only complaint is the overuse of rumble. I would prefer only having rumble for certain things like using the drill, plasmid, or jumping. IMO rumble for things like zoom, first aid, and swit...

*BioShock 2* - BleedingEdge profile ontology
Skip to the last bit you feel like it... The key concept behind this profile is alacrity. I can't stand gamepad layouts that won't let me change weapons, and a whole bunch of other stuff, on the fly. So I tried to define actions based on levels of urgency factoring in convenience, simplicity, emergi...

Finally, the wait is over. :P Hate to be still? This is the profile for those on the go! Here you don't have to stop moving to change ammo, weapons or plasmids. Reload on the fly, bash in an instant, don't stop firing for a single second. Don't get caught in a crouch when you're on the couch.... tr...
