try and right click,properties, run as compatibility with vista since you said it works with vista, worth a try

probably some kind of mis-aligned options or driver issue. no-one has ever come across this before :) check that its the same for all applications and not just some applications and try to eliminate errors. perhaps try another mouse-emulating software just to see if it produces the same or different...

i do not know of a way to do this with xpadder, however i wrote a little program which will do exactly this for you. but you cannot upload files here so ill have to send it thru msn or something....

Yeah i know exactly what u mean but photoshop seems to screw it up when im saving it, i think when i save as bmp the colours go all haywire cause of the blend effects

yes that is what its for. you can assign any of your controllers buttons to any keyboard or mouse buttons and also other advanced stuff

as you suggested, i do use layers alot, i have the body of the controller and the triggers in 2 seperate layers, and a seperate background layer,, and i never had then joined. i dont know why i get such bad results

Whats gimp like compared to photoshop?

the purple thing is pissing me off. everything i make has lots of colour effects and the images effects overlap into the background and it ends up that it looks awful in xpadder

the way xpadder works, is that when you press X O /\ [ ], it turns it into letters like WASD, so it doesnt matter if joypads are disabled cause it uses keyboard and mouse input

Ok so i updated to xbcd and the controls were disabled. then i update to xusb and controls are back. basically im just not getting the right drivers here. i need someone to upload their xusb so i can try and replace my wrong one

Ok, i rebooted twice, and replugged controller. the drivers are now showing up as xusb.sys. but i still have the issue of the joystick being a mouse, magnifier with rb lb. and so forth.

im using windows 7. (windows update is turned off since install)

xusb does not exist on my computer and that software does not fix the problem, it just adds software but the drivers are still the same
