Hold down and release for COD

Post by olly1loud »

I want to set a trigger button to press the right mouse button when pressed and then press the right mouse button again when trigger is released to simulate Call of Duty aim. Is this possible?

Try using the Advanced Assignment window and add these slots:

Slot 1: Right mouse button
Slot 2: Pause 0.10s
Slot 3: Release Zone 0.01s
Slot 4: Right mouse button

In English, when you press the trigger it will play the sequence of (RMB, pause). Adding a pause forces Xpadder to play a sequence otherwise Xpadder would hold the RMB down which would confuse things. After Xpadder has played that sequence (which simulates tapping the RMB) it will do nothing while you continue to hold the trigger.
When you release the trigger Xpadder will tap the assignments in the release zone, in this case it will tap RMB (there is no pause here because ALL assignments in release zones are played or tapped because they can't be performed while the trigger is held because your not holding it anymore!)

This should do exactly what you want.

You can, alternatively, change this in the Call of Duty options. It's something like "Hold to zoom" or something.
