Xpadder wont work

I bought Xpadder a couple months ago and it has worked just fine until today. When I try to get on it all I see is a blank window with a button at the top left that shows its trying to find a controller and the help and settings on the right. Please help

Xpadder cannot find any controller, check the connection or the battery status.
