Hi all
I have an analogue Industrial Joystick (Penny & Giles JC2000) which has a single Thumb button.
To interface this to XPe I have purchased a Game Port to USb converter.(RockFire RM-203).
Connecting this and trying to calibrate it (with GameController/Properties) results in movement
from Centre to two sides only. I have tried a number of Joystick to Mouse converter programs,
but they all do the same. The output on X & Y from the Joystick is 2.5vdc when centred and goes up or down
depending on the direction you move it on both X & Y axis. I am sure it is connected correctly to
the Game Port plug.
Is this a converter problem, or will Xpadder solve this problem ?
I simply need this joystick to act like a mouse for my applications.
Regards
Industrial Joystick

Re: Industrial Joystick
If this controller setup appears in Windows Game controllers control panel correctly (test tab shows proper movement) then you can use Xpadder to assign mouse movement (and more) to the stick.
Re: Industrial Joystick
Hi all
The only movement shown is when I move the stick to 6 o'clock or 3 o'clock.
Movement to 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock gives no response.
So I guess it doesn't show proper movement.
Thanks for your hep anyway.
