Frustrated w/ sticks precision xbox360 controller

I play almost soley FPS and third person shooters. Despite efforts, I cannot get the sticks to feel as precise and clean as when I am using a console.

Regarding suggestions , maybe something like they had in Socom. I believe they had..

1)LOOK SPEED
2) ACCELERATION
3) DEAD ZONE

Is there an equivalent to "acceleration" already built into xpadder?

Frustrated. Currently playing modern warfare 2. I keep the dead zone tight and look speed moderate but stills feels jerky and hard to quickly line up bad guys in my sights. Had the same issues on world at war. Feel me?

You may want to try changing the Mouse mode from look to cursor. Look mode filters stick input so only eight directions of movement is allowed. Cursor mode doesn't filter mouse movement.

Si consiglia di provare a cambiare la modalità di mouse da guardare al cursore. Se vuoi filtri modalità stick di input in modo che solo otto direzioni di movimento è permesso. Modalità Cursore, non il movimento del mouse filtro.

Fare clic sui pulsanti impostazioni bastone (in basso a destra dei pulsanti di bastone)
Selezionare "impostazioni del mouse" nella parte inferiore

Did you assign the mouse to buttons and not to analog sticks?
