I just bought the xpadder software it asked if I wanted to associate any thing I said yes but it has been searching for a very long time I have a xbox 360 controller via plug and play charge kit why isn't the controller being recognized by xpadder software ?
Xpadder is not recognizing the controller because Windows isn't recognizing. Microsoft doesn't make it very clear that the wireless controller requires the Xbox wireless receiver for Windows. The Play & Charge kit will only charge the battery and does not replace the need for the receiver. If you were to open Windows Game Controller control panel, the controller will not be displayed.
