Is there a way to use a different driver, like a keyboard driver? With my usb numeric keypad.
I just bought a usb numeric keypad, and it has the drivers installed and all but xpadder won't recognize it because it isn't a "game controller" device/driver. Is there any possible way to either change this or use this in xpadder overriding the only capabilities it has for game controllers so I can use any type of keyboard or anything else? If you don't think there is, is there an alternative to hotkey a usb numeric keypad? I don't have any software do this (other than possibly xpadder) but there should be some out there. I just want to set my numeric keypad to use normal #'s like from the top of your keyboard because some of my games only accept those numbers to hotbar it like Minecraft, it won't accept the registered numbers that the keypad does "numbpad(#pressed here)". So please just basically tell me how I can get my keypad to use a different set of keys.

Xpadder can definitely only detect game controllers.
I think the easiest way to remap keyboard keys would be AutoHotkey. It doesn't have graphical user interface like Xpadder, but only remapping keyboard keys or mouse buttons is pretty simple and they have a really good documentation.

Why didn’t you just buy a Programmable Keypad, something like this!

It would be really neat if Xpadder could do this but yeah, it seems outside its remit.
Anyway, I have heard that KeyTweak is a good keyboard remapping program: https://www.google.com/search?q=KeyTweak

If you need something to remap a keyboard or even a mouse, then you need to get a hold of HidMacros.
