This is a weird bug. Occasionally, depending on the particular window (e.g. Windows your phone app) and while using Microsoft Adaptive controller, Left clicking (button 2) will launch Windows Settings—> Languages. I'm not sure why it's doing it and it's not consistent, so I don't think it's intentional. Right clicking (button 1) will not do the same.

Microsoft adaptive starts Windows settings
Re: Microsoft adaptive starts Windows settings
If you close Xpadder fully (right-click the Xpadder icon by the clock) see if Windows itself is reading the controller and creating this behaviour

Re: Microsoft adaptive starts Windows settings
if I close out Xpadder completely, the behavior stops. Of course then, I lose left-clicking anything with the adaptive controller as well.
Re: Microsoft adaptive starts Windows settings
Try using a blank profile in Xpadder so no keys or mouse actions are being simulated. If this stops the problem then it is due to a shortcut being simulated.
There are a number of keyboard shortcut keys for various Windows settings. If you search online you should be able to find the keyboard shortcut for your version of Windows and the settings window that opens up. You can usually alter the keyboard shortcut in Windows itself to remove the conflict.

Re: Microsoft adaptive starts Windows settings
Thanks, It turns out that with Xpadder not running, the big Right button on the Microsoft adaptive launches the settings window for NO apparent reason. There is also no ability to change the adaptive controls, within the adaptive software that I know of. It's weird. I've never had problems with your software, until I started using Microsoft adaptive. So obviously there's something hinchey with it.I'm still looking for a way to turn off that shortcut, but the methods I've used are not working. Here is one:
