I got xpadder and my wired 360 controller working for several days, playing MW2. I go to play today and my work is all gone, and nothing is happening when I move the controller. I reprogrammed all the buttons and saved it, but still nothing happens in the game. The controller works while testing buttons in xpadder, but it doesn't work when I go to play the game.

This sounds like a user elevation issue. Try running Xpadder as administrator by first closing Xpadder by right clicking the icon in the notification area/system tray and choosing close.



Now restart the game. I found out with COD4 that if you play on-line PunkBuster requires administrator privilges and silently elevates itself.
