Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (X360)

Post by Bonecrusher52 »

After few days of tweaking controller sensitivity, I think I finally got it right. And I did fix the holding zone issue on reloading/use button and crouch/prone button. This profile gave me the best time of 38.1 in The Pit (Training Ground), which can be found in Spec-Ops. I'm sure great player can get better time on The Pit. COD-MW2 Profile (Proper 2.0 Version) release for Xpadder 5.6 (Please make sure you read the readme.txt file before playing) Enjoy!

THANKS A 1000 MILLIONS MAN !!!!
i usually also spend a day or 2 to get a new Xpadder game profle to my satisfaction,
no i dont or just have to tweak it a little.
I have CTS on both hands so use of a keyboard is kept minimal for me,
try that when your gaming half a day....
i dont understand why those game develloppers dont think about that and make every game gamepad supported
i dont spend money on games that worsen my condition so its their loss!!!
anyways thanks again ill catch some bullets that were intended for you ingame LOL!!!

Why trun off Mouse sensitivity? Would not it be slowly moving up

I dont understand how to configure this setup to my controller. Is there an easy way to set up your controller this way or do you have to manually enter this configuration. I am really new at gaming and xpadder and it is a little confusing. I understand how to make a profile, just not an expert one like this. Any help would be appreciated.

once you find the file from the rar/zip just drag it into the folder where you normally store it.

then when your in xpadder "Click the Profile button to the left of the profile name to access the Profile menu. then Opens a saved profile. If there are any changes to the current profile, you will be asked if you want to save them."

or if you copied the text from the code box on this page "Click the Profile button to the left of the profile name to access the Profile menu. then Opens a profile using text that has been copied. If there are any changes to the current profile, you will be asked if you want to save them."

I pasted this configuration into the profile and it works great! The only problem is I'm using modern warfare 1 and you cannot turn off mouse sensitivity, you can turn it down but not off. Any suggestions on making the toggle switches less sensitive using this configuration?

I made a profile for COD4 awhile back. It uses all default settings in the game and I think it compares well to MW2 on the Xbox360. Be sure to read the notes first.

Bonecrusher- Used your profile and all set up options and I am only able to move and shoot, no other buttons work. Am I missing something? I am using the wireless xbox360 controller.

I figured it out, thanks. Got another question though... I am playing Call of Duty 2 Modern Warfare and I am trying to twink the "look" (right stick) moment. I got two main problems. 1) when i use sniper rifle and "steady" my shot, the stick moves my player very slightly. This is a big problem when trying to aim. and 2) I am having a hard time twinking the "move" (left stick) vs. aiming "look". I know and understand Sets (1, 2, 3, etc) and all that, its the settings I'm not getting; how much "dead zone", sensitivity, etc etc.

Thank for all the help :)

This is a function of this profile, some people like that.
You can completely turn this off, if you right click on the left shoulder button and then left on Set Selector, None.

If it's only to slow for you, you can change the "Emulation Speed" of the Mouse. Click in the Set 2 on the tool symbol near the right stick and then on "Mouse Settings...".
Image
Activate "Move Together". And then move one of the sliders (they will move together) to the left, to adjust mouse speed to slower.
You can adjust the normal mouse speed in Set 1 like this too.
alphaomega1z wrote:2) I am having a hard time twinking the "move" (left stick) vs. aiming "look".
If you don't use this slower mouse speed while aiming function (turn it completely off), you can use the "toggle" function to switch to aiming by tapping the left trigger and to switch back by tapping it again. So you you don't have to hold the button all the time. For this function you have to activate the first function (left, this blue Switch) on the bottom of the "Assignments Window"

Dead Zone: Normally you don't have to change this, it says on which deflection the stick starts to react.

I know in COD4:MW there is a in-game setting that defaults with toggle sites with the right mouse button. You'll need to change this option.

I don't see any possibility you could made wrong that should cause this.
Do you see all assignment in the Main window of Xpadder (it has no empty buttons)? And work the assignments for the left and middle mouse button too?

You can try the assignments of Xpadder (except mouse assignments) outside of the game either simply with notepad or in the settings of Xpadder under keyboard
(both menu points there activated).

How do you turn off Mouse Sensitivity in the game's settings?

When I go to Controls/Look all I get is a slider for the setting, I can't toggle it on or off.

I guess he means "turn it to the minimum".
The possibility to turn the mouse sensitivity off, wouldn't make any sense. Because it would mean that you couldn't look anymore.

Buttons dont work on a WIRED Xbox Controller

Post by srsupport »

Hi, I'm new to this - and was hoping all I'd have to do is load a profile and get rolling. While many things do work, there are some buttons that don't work while playid COD MW2... For example, Run, Knife, Reload and Crouch do not work the way they work on my console... in fact, they don't work at all. Again, I have a WIRED Xbox360 controller. Don't know if that matters. I copied the code and pasted into Xpadder, and saved it, but no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

malhotra- make sure all of your buttons are listed on the xpadder main screen. To add buttons click the controller button and go to settins>buttons and add the buttons you're missing... When I set it up I forgot about the joystick toggle buttons.

I have just got back into pc gaming after years of xbox360 & ps3 gaming so had a go on mw2 pc last night and was ok with keyboard & mouse but decided to look for a decent profile to try with my wired 360 controller and i will just say this profile is great and i think the movement is probably the best part about it so a big thanks to Bonecrusher52 for making it .
