Re: Mass Effect 1 (X360)

I vaguely remember something like that plaguing me, but it's been about two years since I've been able to use this so I can't say for sure. I think it may be a permissions issue. Have you tried running both as administrator?

Re: Mass Effect 1 (X360)

Winzip should do it, although unzipping has been integrated into Windows since XP. That folder, if I remember correctly, is C:\Program Files(might be x86)\Origin\Mass Effect\Binaries.

Re: Mass Effect 1 (X360)

Does nothing work at all in game? I don't have Windows 8, so I'm not sure what help I can be in that regard, but it kind of sounds like a more general issue with Xpadder.

Re: Mass Effect 1 (X360)

Ah, sorry about that. The date isn't necessarily that important, though. While I did make one before the other, the main difference is the need to change your in-game controls. I'll edit the disclaimers. Thanks for letting me know. -EDIT- Changes have been made in reference to Jeff's comment. Wow, s...

Re: Mass Effect 1 (X360)

Thank you guys for the support. I moved the old one to its own thread as per Primal Fear's suggestion. You can view it at the link at the top of the first post.

Mass Effect 1 (X360) (no remap needed)

NOTE: This is an alternative to another profile, seen here: http://xpadder.com/forum4/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4024 Both are valid profiles, but this one works without modifying in-game controls. This profile was designed to recreate the Xbox 360 controls (to a point) while adding in some ability quick ...

Re: Mass Effect 1 (X360)

The reason I'd kept the old one is that it doesn't require changing anything in-game while the second does, but if you think that's best, I'll do so when I'm next at my PC. Maneuvering on mobile is cumbersome :)

Re: Toggle a button and switch to a set simultaneously?

Alright, I've given them a try (I also gave autohotkey a shot), and I'm liking it so far. I'm currently using option 1 but I may switch to option 3 which I hadn't really considered. It may seem a bit contrite, but I prefer taps to holds (even 0.2s long ones :) ). Regardless, all three of these optio...

Toggle a button and switch to a set simultaneously?

I have been working on a profile for Mass Effect 1 (360 pad) and have run into a bit of a snag that I was wondering someone might be able to help me out with. I want my Left Bumper to bring up and take down my Tactical HUD (I have it set to T) and at the same time I'd like it to switch to a set that...

Mass Effect 1 (X360)

Note: there is an alternative to this profile, seen here: http://xpadder.com/forum4/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5340 Both are completely valid profiles. This profile requires editing in-game controls, while the other is more plug-and-play. Now, onto the show. This profile for Mass Effect is designed to rec...
