Re: Mass Effect 1 (XBox 360/XInput & PS2/PS3 Controllers)
Easiest way would probably be to turn down the mouse sensitivity in ME1's options. (I think ME1 allows you to change sensitivity. I think one of the games does not, but I believe that's ME2.) Alternately, you could also change the cursor speed in the profile, on the settings menu for the aiming stick.

Are these triggers analog? Depending on the driver, non-XInput triggers are sometimes read as a single axis, which can cause them to cancel each other out. Xpadder doesn't stop other programs from receiving the gamepad's input, so this should be no problem. Just assign keystrokes to the buttons you want Xpadder to handle and leave the rest blank.

The syntax for a tap-hold assignment looks like this: [Release Zone, 0.01 seconds] [Key pressed when tapping] [Release Zone, X seconds] [Hold Zone, X+0.01 Seconds] [Key pressed when holding for at least X seconds] You need both release zones there to make sure the "tap" key is pressed only when you ...

Mass Effect 2 (XBox 360/XInput & PS2/PS3 Controllers)
http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/5841/masseffect2prof.png I didn't see quite the kind of profile I wanted for Mass Effect 2 - something similar to the XBox version - so I made one. ME2 XBox was the basis for the layout, but there are some changes to accomodate PC hotkeys and Xpadder's own contrib...

Grim Fandango (XBox 360/XInput & PS2/PS3 Controllers)
http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/640/grimfandangoprof.png Grim Fandango does technically have native controller support, but the button assignments are hard-coded to specific button numbers. The results, at least on an XBox 360 pad with the Microsoft driver, feel a little funky, so I created a pr...

Psychonauts (X360)
I was able to map almost everything in-game; it does support DirectInput for gamepads. And you get true analog stick support that way, which is nice for a platformer like this. I don't recall having to do too much switching around of the default bindings either. So unless that isn't working for some...

Re: Analog Stick Walk/Run when the game will only toggle
For your second: It doesn't work, because the Hold Zone has precedence before the Distance Zones. That means it ignores, that it is placed in a Distance Zone. Yeah, as I said in my explanation of the third try, I finally took a good look at the scheduling panel and realized I'd gotten the logic wro...

Analog Stick Walk/Run when the game will only toggle
I'm trying to add walk/run sensitivity on the WASD keys, mapped to the left stick, for a game (Mass Effect 1) which only has a toggle key for movement speed - no hold key. I'm thinking it's impossible to get it to work as I want. What I really need is a way to make Xpadder hit the toggle key wheneve...

Sid Meier's Pirates! (X360)
This was not an easy one to create a layout for, but I'm pretty happy with the results. After choosing a name and settings and actually starting the game, I find myself reaching for the mouse very rarely - mostly for changing filters in the map screen. Note that you will have to copy over the mappin...
