If you cannot spare any button for this, have a look on this profile. That way you can still use the Start and Back button with a Release Zone assignment (like Tap and Hold, but without Hold).

In the mouse settings you can choose between the normal mode (look and cursor) and spring. Spring move basically back to a centered area when releasing the stick.

You can use the Set Selector to increase or decrease the mouse speed wit ha button, by configuring the mouse differently in every Set.

Every Windows compatible game controller will work with Xpadder.
I don't think that this problem with Motioninjoy isn't fixable, but it's anyways not sure that it will work with this controller. So with a officially PC compatible Arcade Stick you are in every way on the safe side.

As far as I could find out about this controller, it is for PS3 only. You can try to install the Motioninjoy driver for it.

I think that's a technical problem with the controller. When you press something on the controller you may however cause shorts in the circuit board.
