Logitech F710 can't recognize right/left trigger

Post by dstjonn »

So the title says it all.

I bought xpadder, every other part of it works, including the left analog stick, but when I place the right and left trigger, it wont accept it.

First it says that it is not an analog and wants to know if I will place it as a button, I say yes.

Then I hit the trigger, and the whole thing blanks out. I have done this about 12 times and it won't work. Can someone please advise me.

Thank you,

The F710 has two different modes, DirectInput mode (D) and Xinputmode (X). You can select them with the small slider in the back of the controller, in every mode the controller will be detected as a different one. In DirectInput mode the triggers are digital (buttons) and in Xinput mode the trigger will be analog (axes).

I have no idea why the the triggers causing such a problem for you in DirectInput mode but simply try Xinput for Xpadder.
