Tap a button for input A else Hold it for button B

Post by Straider »

Hey, I'm trying to map out something for Killing Floor, I wan't to tap x (on the xbox) for reload and hold the same button to turn on flash-light.

I used this layout in Advanced Assignments:
---------------------------------------
|Release 0.01|R|Hold 0.30|F|
---------------------------------------
Key
[*]R = Reload
[*]F = Flashlight

This works fine except that I will reload after taking out the flash-light.

If i use Release instead of the Hold then I don't take out the flash-light untill I release the X button, I wan't it to take out the flash-light while the button is down but not reload after.

You have to end the Release Zone at the time the Hold Zone should start.
So place a 0.30 (actually 0.29 to be absolutely precisely, but the 0.01 seconds never caused problems for me) Release Zone after the R.
