temporary turbo

I'm trying to use the "e" and "r" buttons (x and a, on my controller) in turbo only sometimes. I am using the left bumper to toggle to the second set ("Turbo" set) to accomplish this. but my simple need is proving difficult. It doesn't work right but this is what I have:

I just need a way to toggle the turbo on and off. am I on the right track, or is there a simpler way of doing this?

P.S. I hate to use turbo but I am disabled and cannot hit the buttons fast enough anymore.

I had to adjust the speed up 1 second (to 6 from 7) and I turned them into toggle buttons. It now works well and when I let go of the left bumper it returns to normal. Thanks, everyone.
