Setting Up xpadder

I have xpadder installed but cannot figure out how to get it to work with cod4 i have downloaded the official 360 controller image and converted it to a bmp file with paint, but when i go to open it the file does not show up. I have also download the cod4 profile but cannot seem to get anything setup right. Any help would be sweet.
