Setting an offset with rudder pedals

Post by Andy_R »

My Problem.
I have a set of Simped Vario rudder pedals Gameport version. When I upgraded to Win7 I was given some advice to buy a SuperJoyBox7 Gameport to USB converter as this was thought to be compatible with the pedals. When I plug in the pedals using the converter they are recognised as a Gameport to USB converter and I can get responses from the pedals. My problem is that I can not set the correct centre point for the pedals, they have an adjustment on the pedals but it doesn't allow me to vary it enough to get to the magic 127 point that flight sims are expecting.

My Question.
Would xpadder allow me to apply an offset to the initial value returned by the pedals? i.e. If the pedals are currently reporting mid-point as 27 could I apply +100 to this value so the pedals will appear properly calibrated?

Best Regards

Xpadder reads input from your controller and outputs keypresses and mouse commands based on those inputs. Xpadder can not change the raw data sent by the controller to Windows.
