Need help in setting up the ps3 controller. Also thinking of buying a new controller. What controller is the best for cod4?

The DualShock3 does not have OEM drivers for windows but third party drivers do exist. Do a search for BTsix for one option. I prefer the 360 controller as it seems to fit my hands better than the ps3 controller, it feels small and I don't have big hands. Logitecs Rumblepad seems popular on the boards here and it has a simular layout as the sony controllers.

If your in store for a new controller I also recommend either the Xbox 360 controller or the Logitech Rumblepads. I recommend the 360 controller more though because it has a good amount of support and official drivers from Microsoft. Also you can utilize Xinput which is better than Directinput.
