D-Pad issue

Post by Sylver Cheetah 53 »

What's the thing with the D-Pad? Has anyone noticed that it isn't working right? What I mean is that you only get up, down, left and right. But there is only 4 ways to go, and not 8. You can only walk on horizontal or vertical, but not diagonal. :(

What is there to solve? The D-Pad doesn't have any issues in Xpadder.

The default mode for the Dpad (and sticks) is "Standard" which means you can make assignments to the four directions. The diagonals includes the adjacent directions. Example: up direction is assigned [W] and right direction is [D], when you press up and right Xpadder outputs [W+D]. If you want to assign a different key to the diagonals you can change the mode to 8-way by clicking the group assignment icon (looks like a wrench in a circle) and clicking the 8-way option.
