2 Years later, still coming back for Xpadder updates.

Post by rjsaurage »

Stopped by to download the newest xpadder for my new laptop so I could play a standalone Castlevania:SOTN, and figured I'd write a review after using xpadder for so long. Best 10$ I spent that year. :D

Controller support just never seems to be as good as using xpadder. It's a little sad, but at least that means Jonathan will have a consumer base for many many years.
Even in games that have pretty good controller support, the macros and shift-controls xpadder gives makes me come back for it eventually.

The only issue I've ever had came from a Logitech button pad that had it's own drivers, and just wasn't going to work while I had a controller plugged in. Note that the problem arose from trying to use it alongside xpadder for another controller. I could have used xpadder for the button pad, but it wouldn't have had support for the info screen and colors. I've since stopped using the pad, after feeling out of place if I was just using a keyboard for those games.
