Xpadder error while using headset wireless adapter

Post by iz_zai »

Hello guys. So i just bought my new wireless headset (Sony Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset) & unfortunately, every time I put in the wireless adapter into one of my usb, xpadder suddenly crash & this message pop up;

DirectInput Error

Command
EnumDevices

Error
Exception

Controllers
1

A device is preventing the controller scan from completing. Remove all non-
controller devices and restart this program. If you are using the DirectX SDK check
that the Retail Version of DirectInput is selected in the DirectX Control Panel. For
assistance, please visit the website xpadder.com
So Xpadder wont work unless I take out that adapter. I have no idea what to do. So someone please help me!

Open the Xpadder settings by clicking on the tool symbol in the upper right and deactivate in the section "Options" the setting "Automatically detect new controllers" (last entry under "Running"). Now Xpadder will only search for new controllers when starting and if you click on the button that appears now next to the button that opens the settings window, so you should only do this when the headset isn't connected.
