This profile works for Shadows of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat and is made for the Xbox360pad.

If a assignment has two names separated by a /, then it means that the first one is assigned on tap and the second on on hold. You will get stuck in Set2, if open you hold left trigger (opens Set2), then hold the right stick button (opens Set4) to zoom in or out and release the left trigger first. In this case simply tap the right stick button once to get back in Set1.

-the whole DPad has a small delay, to not mistakenly use an object in the quick slots
-tapping the right stick button for less than 0.10 seconds will trigger a single left mouse click, this is for selecting menu entries
-holding X causes a long row of double clicks, optimal to equip an object in the inventory or to move much ammunition from one inventory to another

Notes:
-Shadow of Chernobyl doesn't use the assignment "Detector"
-in Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky Quickslot1 is "Medkit" and Quickslot3 "Bandage"
-in Call of Pripyat it is for some strange reason not possible to turn on/off "Night Vision" while aiming
[Important] In Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky you have to change "Always crouch" to CTRL in the key settings of the game. In Call of Pripyat you have to activate the setting "Crouch/stand mode" under Options->Game[Important]

Update@29th June 2011: Whole new profile (Version2.0), now the same profile for all three parts.
Update@24th October 2011: Added Oke_Doke's "While held work around", to avoid getting stuck in a Set. And the possibility to turn around faster by holding the right stick button.

Hello Primal Fear! I am trying to get the Call of Pripyat profile pasted but it keeps telling me "The pasted profile data was created by a newer version and cannot be pasted".
I re-downloaded Xpadder to the 11/17 version

Any thoughts my good man?

The reason for that is that I have saved this profile with a Nightly Build that is newer than the last stable version. I cannot find any data in the profile that should make it really incompatible to the current stable release, so I will simply make a "17" out of that "30" :twisted:.
Now Xpadder cannot recognize that it was made with a newer version and will accept the profile (I have tested this).

I have installed STALKER SoC with the 2009 Complete pack. The right stick works outside the game for example but none of the buttons work at all in game. Have I missed something here?

If you use Windows Vista or Seven, run Xpadder as Admin because of Windows UAC. More information about that here.

this works for me but everytime iuse the right stick to look up or down its like somethings fighting it and it judders and goes the oposite way i want it to everything else is fine including movemeant just looking can anyone help?

Open in in Xpadder the stick settings for this, by clicking on the tool symbols near the stick and clicking on "Settings...".

Under "Status" you can see how the stick moves, when you move it.
Does the point perfectly follow your movement or does it (partially) act different?

it moves fine though not perfect but in game looking up or down slowly such as when aiming down sights it either acts like hiting a barrier bouncing as if its struggling against something or inverts and slowly climbs the opposite way but moving all the way up or down in one go doesent seem to trigger it would any slack in sticks cause something like this?

thanks for the help think ive sorted it now inverted up and down in xpadder and it seems to work perfectly now

I guess you have another program like Xpadder running, that emulates the mouse on the right stick with inverted Y-Axis. Does the right stick move the mouse, when you load an empty profile into Xpadder?

The profile is fine. I suppose you didn't create your controller layout before pasting the profile.
Or you have used the wrong menu for pasting the profile, in that case you would get the error message "Invalid controller data". The profile menu is the one on the right side.

Thanks for all your work Primal Fear. My question is how did you get crouch/low crouch on one button in set two? I'm getting an error message when I try to replicate what you did :?: Oh, thanks for the tip on always crouch/ctrl. The best I can do is crouch and keep holding
the button down for low crouch.
