Duke Nukem Manhattan Project (X360)

Post by dpezet »

The joystick support in Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project is pretty spotty. I prefer to disable the in-game joystick and let Xpadder handle it for me via key mappings. Here is my preferred layout:

Code: Select all

;--- Xpadder Profile Data ---

Set1Button1Name=Jump
Set1Button1Slots=Left Control

Set1Button2Slots=Space
Set1Button3Name=Attack
Set1Button3Slots=Alt
Set1Button4Name=Pipe Bomb

Set1Button8Name=Enter
Set1Button8Slots=Enter
Set1DPadUpSlots=Arrow Up
Set1DPadRightSlots=Arrow Right
Set1DPadDownSlots=Arrow Down
Set1DPadLeftSlots=Arrow Left
Set1Stick1UpSlots=Arrow Up
Set1Stick1RightSlots=Arrow Right
Set1Stick1DownSlots=Arrow Down
Set1Stick1LeftSlots=Arrow Left
Set1Stick2RightName=Next Weapon

Remember to disable the joystick support in the game by going in to the options menu. If not, you will find that some of your buttons will have two effects and it rarely works out in your favor :)
