Daytime:
Using the controller isn't really comfortable, so I recommend to consider using your mouse for the strategy part (still I use the controller). If you still want to use your controller, assignments with a * behind their name are meant for the strategy part only.
  • -moving the cursor = right stick
-clicking on something = tapping the right stick button
-holding the left mouse button (for Drag&Drop or drawing firewalls) = holding the right stick button for at least 0.30s to lock the LMB and tapping it again to release it, alternatively right trigger
-moving the camera = left stick
-turning the camera = left trigger+left stick left/right
    -zoom in/out = left trigger+left stick up/down
Nighttime:
The assignments on the Dpad work via Tap&Hold, for the quick slot before the / you need to tap the specific direction and for the one behind the / you need to hold the DPad direction.
For more precise aiming, the mouse movement in this Set2 (RifleMode) is slower.

Code: Select all

Tiny update:
I have assigned the left mouse button to the right trigger in Set1 to shoot the Ballista. That way it isn't anymore necessary to hold the right trigger for that, but it is still possible too slow down the aiming.
It can also be use in the strategy part, if you prefer it compare to the locking function on the right stick button.

I have also slightly improved the set and assignment naming.

Will try this later, I think the keyboard and mouse controls are too cluttered and clunky for this sort of game.

Cheers!

Middle Mouse Button

Post by anderson.kjell »

Thanks for this Primal Fear. Quick (and probably dumb) question - how do you toggle between items in combat? I think it is the middle mouse button but I"m not sure how to access this on the controller.
